 Jeff Barnhart takes the MMSA win at Twin Cities Raceway in
North
Vernon. IN.
The Midwest Mini Sprints visited Twin Cities Raceway on Sat. April
26th.
Twenty six cars signed into the pits.
After running the bullring of Thunder Valley Raceway on Friday, the
drivers faced a new challenge of a big wide-open track.
Heat wins went to Ryan Broughton, Justin Springer and Nick Roberts.
Friday night’s winner Scott Bradley won the B main.
Justin Springer and Justin Roberts would lead the cars to the green,
with Roberts getting the jump to lead lap one followed by Jeff
Barnhart from his third starting position. On lap two Roberts would
clip an infield tire, damaging his front end. He would pull to the
infield handing the lead to Barnhart with Ryan Broughton and Lynn
Ambrose in tow. The race went caution free with Barnhart taking the
win followed by Broughton, JR Douglas, Andy Bradley with Jon Cottrell
rounding out the top five. Andy Bradley earned the hard charger bonus
with Dennis Collins earning the top finishing 600cc award.

Weekend notes:
Drivers were raving all weekend over the great purses the MMSA is
paying.
Three cars from the Illinois group made the tow. Jamie Lusher, Justin
Springer and Jack Sandall all said they had a great time.
Ryan Broughton earned the $100 bonus for the high point winner for
the two nights combined.
The first three races have seen three different winners.
Several sprint car drivers stopped by the MMSA booth expressing
their interest in the minis & the great purses the MMSA is paying.
Next race is May 10th at Montplier Speedway in Montplier, IN.
