MMSA at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday night, July 17, 2009

This was the first time the upright mini sprints had raced in Bloomington in several years.  It was also the very first time the MMSA 1000cc upright mini sprints had been invited to race at the famous Bloomington Speedway.

Twenty (29) cars signed up to support the USAC sprint race.  Thousands of spectators filled the stands and lined the hill to watch the USAC sprints and the MMSA mini sprints.
