Midwest Mini Sprint Association race on Saturday
night August 8, 2009 at Kokomo, IN
I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!!!
Stock 1000cc upright mini sprint racing is some of
the best racing in the country. Saturday
night, August 8, at Kokomo, IN was no exception. With
19 cars present, the racing was fast and furious.
The first heat saw 10 cars chase car #11, Alex
Shipman from Mitchell, IN, for 8 laps as Alex lead
every lap.
The second heat was all together different. Collin
Ambrose started on the rear and worked his way up
to the front and passed his older brother, Lynn
Ambrose, for the win.

The feature was stopped for 2 red flags. The
first was for Steve Noel who flipped in turn 4 and
the second was for Seth Motsinger whose car
developed an oil fire exiting turn 2. Neither
car returned to action.
We want to thank the new drivers and their
families and crews who came to Kokomo to race with
us. We
hope to see all of you back again this season.
