MMSA Twin Cities Race Results, Saturday, September 5, 2009

New York driver, Don Harvey dominated the 21 car field at Twin Cities Raceway Saturday night. Harvey led every lap of his heat and the "A" Main. His dominance overshadowed a stellar performance by runner up, young Sam Ashworth who overcame a tipover at Moler Raceway on Friday night with a flawless race, this was Sam’s best finish with the MMSA this season.

Lynn Ambrose finished third followed by Colin Ambrose and another youngster, Seth Motsinger was fitfh with one of his best races of the season.

Heat race winners were Harvey and Nathan Mensendiek. This was Nathan's first race since being involved the big first lap accident at Lawrenceburg a couple of weeks ago. It looks like he has made a good recovery. Nathan finished 6th in the "A". It was a good night for the young drivers.

After winning two straight "A's", points leader, Scott Bradley, claimed the Hard Charger Award  in the last two races, after starting 18th and finishing 7th Saturday night. Chillicothe, Ohio's Hershel Wills was the top 600cc bonus winner.
